Lissa Jensen was born in Denmark, and raised in the Cascade Mountains of Central Oregon. Her art tends to meander into the fairy tales worlds, deal with folk-tale themes and a continual fascination with drifters, outsiders, and girls that wander. Jensen has a Masters degree in "Mythology, Literature and the Unconscious" and though she loves literature and writing, she appreciates the visual aspect of story-telling above all else. Mystery, imperfection, and soul are the three touchstones with which she celebrates in her work.
